Open innovation is a strategic component in surviving Coronavirus crisis. It answers the questions: What will the new rules be? What will customer want? Companies that are going head strong, are not open, and are not listening will definitely have a harder time.
The good thing is that, at least in our experience, openness has drastically increased during Coronavirus crisis. Under this extreme stress people are naturally much more open to listening, changing, and cooperating beyond traditional structures. They want to change things for better very quickly.
