Happy Easter and where to eat when the crisis ends

wiltons london

We usually do not congratulate religious holidays because there are so many religions and holidays, but this year we are making an exception. Happy Easter.

To break away from the grim crisis articles, Andrea and I decided to share our suggestions where you can travel for a good meal after the Coronavirus crisis ends.

Italy

Napoli – Mascagni
Different kind of pizza in a city which owns pizza.

Venezia – Terazza Danieli at Danieli
Great atmosphere and ambient on a terrace.

Vicenza – Angolo Palladio
Great location and pizza.

Firenze – Buca Mario
Second best steak in the world.

Roma – Cacio e Peppe
Order cacio e peppe.

Trieste – La Tenda Rossa
Order fish, catch a sunset.

Not Italy but still good

Athens – Ithaki
Great location above a beach.

Belgrade – Iris New Balkan Cuisine
New local menu every month.

Brussels – Maison du Cygne
Karl Marx used to live here. Order fish. Drink beer. Lots of butter in everything.

Cape Town – La Perla
Great location and atmosphere, catch a sunset.

Copenhagen – Salt
Great location for lunch if you eat out and it is sunny.

Leipzig – Auerbachs Keller Leibzig
A piece of history.

London – Wiltons
A piece of history.

Los Angeles – The Polo Lounge at The Beverly Hills Hotel
A small part of Hollywood history, book ahead to get a table in peak time.

Marseilles – Le Château Sormiou
Amazing location in a calanque, order bouillabaisse a day ahead.

New York City – Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant
Order oysters and lobster.

San Angelo – Zero One Ale House
In the middle of nowhere in Texas, but third best steak in the world.

Tokyo – Kamon at Imperial Hotel
Best steak in the world.

All these cities have an unlimited supply of amazing restaurants. We focused on restaurants you should visit if you only have one day in the city. We are assuming these restaurants will survive the Coronavirus crisis.

Happy Easter.
