Complexity bias is a false belief that solutions must be complex. It is a common error in decision making which blocks growth. If managers believe that real solutions must be complicated they will ignore simple solutions that actually work.
Our Roadmap feature is designed to be simple. I do not believe that there is a need for complexity in designing the growth of a company. Roadmap allows a limited number of steps which can be positioned in a single timeline with a start and a goal. Growth plan should be simple as this. If it can not be understood within few minutes then something might be wrong with it.
In our experience, growth is simple. It happens in much less steps than most managers assume. Product is launched, press is published, customers are acquired. Avoid the complexity bias. Plans and solutions should be simple.
